Andre Johnson wrote this book based on the "Genesis Pattern" he discovered in the Bible - Genesis, Chapter 2:18, 21-25. He called it God's Original Design for Marriage.

“Now the Lord God said, it is not good (sufficient, satisfactory) that the man should be alone; I will make him a helper meet (suitable, adapted, complementary) for him. And the Lord God caused a deep sleep to fall upon Adam; and while he slept, He took one of the ribs or a part of his side and closed up the [place with] flesh. And the rib or part of his side which the Lord God had taken from the man He built up and made into a woman, and He brought her to the man. Then Adam said, this [creature] is now bone of my bone and flesh of my flesh; she shall be called Woman, because she was taken out of a man. Therefore a man shall leave his father and his mother and shall become united and cleave to his wife, and they shall become one flesh [Matt 19:5; 1 Co 6:16; Eph 5:3133.] And the man and his wife were both naked and were not embarrassed or ashamed in each other’s presence.” (Gen 2: 18; 21-25, AMPC)

This book addresses subjects such as:

• The Creation Theory - Satan's intent to distort relationships, harmony between husband and wife, disrupting God's idea to build marriages into families, communities and nations.
  
• Aloneness - Man's greatest challenge. For God saw it was not good for a man to be alone. The woman was created as a suitable companion to the man to deal with his deficiencies.
  
• Companionship - The woman has a weakness and the man was created to cover it. Therefore, if the man does not serve the woman as a companion chances are that she will find a snake.
  
• Language - It is important that couples develop a love language between them. This will keep the communication open and greater understanding will be developed. Communication is key in any relationship. For Amos 3:3 says, "how can two people walk together unless they agree." IN marriage you have to learn that you will not always agree with views, opinions and ideas, but you may agree to disagree on certain matters.
  
• Protecting  the Bond - Satan knows he cant penetrate the walls of marriage, but will shoot blind arrows into the relationship to destroy it from within. The greatest arrow found in most relationships is conflict. If you don learn as a couple to deal with conflict you will always be at war with one another. You have to protect the bond developed between you.
  
• Cleaving - One of the greatest weapons Satan use to destroy marriages is third parties. Your partner may never separate from the attachment and bond he/she has with their parents, which may be detrimental to the bond of marriage. Therefore, it is imperative to develop boundaries in the marriage to deal with the aspects of third parties influencing and speaking into the relationship.
  

Gary Chapman says, “We must first learn what is important to our spouse. Only then can we give encouragement.” 

Most couples on their wedding day are overwhelmed with  excitement, joy and delight, and enter this journey in the bond of agreement promising to be faithful to each other, for better, or for worse, for richer, or for poorer, in sickness, and in health, until death  us do part; but very few understand the true value of marriage.

There is no golden rule for marriage, hence the reason why we have so many books, material, and information available; yet it remains one of the biggest problems in society. Andre could never imagine that God would ever allow him to write a book about marriage, and was hesitant when the request came to do so.

So much prayer, research and meditation went into this. He stumbled upon what he calls, the “Genesis Pattern” in the second chapter of the book of Genesis. 

God spoke about a heavenly pattern and design for marriage. After sharing this information with his wife Melissa; they immediately adopted the model and began implementing these concepts into their daily routine with each other. Their perspective was changed and their interaction with one another shifted. 

Even their relationship towards God took on a new way of worship. It liberated them and brought their love and devotion to a deeper meaning for each other.

Andre therefore share their experience in this book, and trust it will help you in your celebration of marriage and fellowship of togetherness. The bond of agreement is the vow you make in holy matrimony to one another, and built the relationship towards maturity in marriage.

This book is more like a guide for married couples, and those aspiring a relationship. We learn from Genesis:

• Adam was made perfect,
• he lacked nothing,
• he was God fearing, 
• he had authority and knew how to care and take responsibility,
• Adam had a brilliant mind full of truth, and knowledge of evolution, cosmology, biology and all the ology’s you could think of:

YET! God saw he needed HELP!

It is in this context that God made him a suitable “help meet” to help him cultivate the earth. Adam and Eve were God’s perfect design, inseparable unit working together in harmony. They were not separate from each other, for the original design were to be ONE! Even though they had separate distinct functions, which can be seen as ‘dualism,’ they were one complete man.        

Marriage is the mature status of a man and woman, which leads to family, community, and nations. It releases God’s favour and blessing upon the household in the perfect delight of fellowship. There is no misunderstanding, mistrust, competition, power struggles, guilt, vengeance, harsh words, fear, needing to hide in the original pattern and design.

The saying goes, “a kingdom is only as strong as the walls, which protects its king, and the people.” 

This book, “Gods Original Design For Marriage” conceals heavenly patterns and designs unlike other. It would be unfair towards you to keep this revelation knowledge to myself and die with these truths.
